The Importance of Enablers in the Operations of Special Forces

The infrastructure that's required to get armed people on the ground is really quite significant. The enablers almost feel more important than the shiny operators where they're lovely raw marine badges and get their front page coverage. We tend to have a lot of fighting type assets on high readiness, but some of the other enablers aren't routinely on high readiness unless they're an aircraft that's working on the special forces wing of the Air Force.
