Is There Any Explanation for the Third Age?

There's so many stories they could have told in the third age that actually have a lot more detail. So like, these are not the defenses of something of an art project that I think people think they are. There's just no excuse for some of them. Some of them are just changes for the sake of changes or lazy changes. But you know who does the showrunners? The pitch presumably was getting around those and still telling a compelling story. You helped me with validation. Here's where I'm at. I am ready for this season to conclude.
