Globalist: A History of the Recent Past

This book is a follow-up to Globalist, which came out in 2018. The idea that there is a cabal of small number of elites who are puppet masters at the global level has really become one of the way that the far right has criticized actual existing politics. So part of it was my desire to sort of look at a different scale and say that if you want to understand how capitalism works in the most basic empirical sense, then you need to get past a fixation on either the global or national scale.
