What's the Role of a Writer or Driver in Transportation?

Ali Vatanka: I read the book a few weeks ago and started rereading it again over the last couple of days in preparation for our conversation today. One of the things that I noticed on the second reading that I loved was just how much detail about the industry and the pushes and pulls with the technology are packed into your first four or five pages. And one example of that he'll give you is in a very human way you hit on like this unsung uncertainty about the role of a human driver versus an automated system or something in between.
