No Deficit Lesion Correlation

A German neurologist made a similar discovery for a different part of the brain. He found patients that had a lesion, or brain injury due to stroke, in the temporal lobe. They could talk, they were very fluent, but didn't make any sense. So we have a production ot art and a comprehension part. And so now we have a kind of understanding. Now, what's the problem with that? Well, first of all, that's not a theory of language. For that, we had to wait another hundred years until language, the language sciences, were more mature.
