Running Injuries - Is There Evidence for Cushioning?

There's no strong evidence that high cushioning shoes lead to lower risks or lower rates of injuries. When you run on a softer surface, what it does it changes how you run. Your lower limbs stiffens and your body is more compliant. But if you slow down, the demands of the muscular teninous tissue are higher. And so there might be some exasperate bone problems when we go on soft surfaces.
