The Importance of Early Detection

On mammograms, the average time of doubling before the detectable is 14 to 17 years. The reason is this mammograms detect slower growing tumors. You're not going to find it on average until it's 10 years old in terms of doubling. That's early detection. As far as treatment goes, you have to understand that if it's truly cancer, many people, in fact, probably 10 times as many people are over diagnosed with the cancer. In other words, they told they have cancer and really don't have anything in trouble in their lifetime.
