New York Comedy in the 2000s and 2010s

New York comedy was kind of totally upended. It went from like everybody's hanging out and friends to like, oh, now people are getting commercials. I think that's the story of New York comedy in the 2000s and 2010s in a way. People will be like, my band in Denver blew up, but then you know who's mad? Every other band in Denver. Right. Like how Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes feeling right now; they're all going through similar things.
