Until I became a politician, people didn't ask me that much background. It is important in politics because people need to know who you are and what motivates you if you like. But my initial instinct was to sort of clam and not want to talk about my mum and dad or how I grew up and what it was like. People listening to this will form their own views. They may resonate.
