The Metaverse - What Is It?
There's this digital you that exists in the internet right now, but by and large, it's owned by some other corporation. The metaverse allows us to take back ownership of those digital assets. And really the metaverse is about that data layer much more than it is about the virtual reality. Those are just apps. We've had games for ages. What's new is that we can have this singular digital instance of ourselves on the internet, in that data, ourself using Web3 technology.
