Isn't Everything a Waste of Time?

A 32-year-old man runs click bait websites that generate him passive income. He doesn't work much, he also doesn't make much, but his family and the people of my life are not ok with that. People tell him, you're wasting your time, but he says, what exactly is a waste of time anyway? Isn't working 50 hours a week for a hundred, 50 k a year salary so you can buy a shinier car waste of time? And at the end of the day, most of us could just be deleated to morrow, and we wouldn't even blip on the overall mechanization of society.
