Sasha: The idea of attacking Russia with F-16s is not without support in Washington. He says the US doesn't want to allow Vladimir Putin to test its Article 5 neutral defense clause by using a chemical or nuclear weapon against Ukraine. But he adds that Joe Biden has been reticent about going further than supplying equipment, which could be seen as escalatory for Moscow. Sasha: I just don't see a point at which Joe Biden is going to move away from this stance - especially when the likes of Britain and France have already donated similar capabilities.
