Thomistic Metaphysics
Thomistic metaphysics is not primarily concerned with either the subject of the object, as would be construed by modern and post-modern thinkers. In short for Thomas, metaphysics concerns simply what is real. The distinction between existence and essence in created being grounds his metaphysics over and against Plato and Aristotle.
