Growing Up in Hackney in the 60s

Football was a common theme during my primary school. I don't know where my lover football came from because my dad wasn't really a football type of man. My brother was four or five years older than me and he loved football the same way that I did. We went to park not too far away from us to be totally honest, a great park. But financially it wasn't great in our household, so you'd just, you'd go to school and you'd come back, you know, it wasn't anything other than that. And then winning my first medal at football as we took the South Grove primary to a league title. Wasn't significantly better than everyone else? Oh
