The Problem With Spontaneity
Luxembourg's attempt to avoid both ends up in practice resulting in a strategy which, if it were to work, would produce Leninism. If you can't get a general strike through spontaneity, then waiting for the solution is akin to just remaining committed to the bourgeois nation's state. And if you do get that general strike, the military will then get involved and then it will start to take on a more Leninist flavor. So you see how you're kind of stuck there. You don't have a very easy way out.
