There's a punitive damages caps on civil rights violation so if you see somebody you win it's a right case. You can get up to 300 000 per per lawsuit for individual right if you discriminate based on race and sex. Over time that's becoming less of less valuable, he says. The number of civil rights lawsuits peaked in the 1990s or early 2000s as a percentage of all lawsuits fed up uh filed it up federal cases.
