PrEP: A Game-Changing Medication for HIV Prevention

PrEP is used for anyone who might be at risk for HIV transmission. Most often we're talking about men who have sex with men but we're also talking there's a lot about IV drug use so if your partner or you yourself use IV drugs then it's you should probably consider being on PrEP. The risk profile is very low for the medication and even though HIV is a chronic disease we should try to prevent its transmission as much as possible.
