In the 90s there was this new idea that was coming up that was the same we can produce a number of space services. Global Star, Iridium, Teledesic those three they managed to attract 9 billion dollars in private venture funding and well actually went belly up. So going back to the new space proposals today there is I believe two different drives. There is the people that say space technology has changed we can do better with smaller system cheaper systems. This is the proposition made by companies such as Planet. They say together today with very small satellites what was done years ago with big platforms.
