Ron DeSantis has had a very busy schedule this week. The moment that stuck out the most to me was when Donald Trump said through a series of Donald Trump isms that basically we need to revoke birthright citizenship. And Ron DeSantis came out and said, that's funny, you had four years to do it cited a 2018 statement and multiple stories where Trump said he was considering it in 2018 again when he was president. He can't just say whatever he wants. Donald Trump isn't the challenger anymore. He has a record he has to run on and defend. That means you have to calibrate your criticisms and attacks very carefully.
