Mindfulness is a really good way. It's just about shrinking your world into the here and the now, in the moment. And there are practices. There's one minute mindfulness techniques, five minute mindfulness techniques,. simple breathings. I'm going to share one with you that i do - it's called bax breathing. So you breathe in, then you hold, then you exhale, you hold. My son is 15; they have been doing mindful minutes at his school for years. He sees a huge difference in him versus his brother and sister. We're learning we can exert some control over those pit features of the brain.
