The Complexity of Platelet Antigens

The most obvious thing is class one HLA, which is on most cells and it's on platelets. The collagen receptor GP1A2A carries the HPA5 antigens in causing some of the allo-immune disorders like NAIT. There's a protein called glycoprotein IV or CD36 that is on the platelet service. And there are lots of other proteins and antigens that are expressed to make platelets do what they do.
