The Terrorism Enhancement in the Case of Stuart Rhodes

Stuart Rhodes was convicted of seditious conspiracy, but he wasn't charged with a terrorism offense. Judge Mayde gave him an 18-year sentence; that's significant because the government asked for more than 25 years. This is not so much whether at some point if he's convicted of crimes related to January 6, he'll get a terrorism enhancement. But what it shows is unlike Maggs or Watkins, Stuart Rhodes did not go in the Capitol and did not assault a police officer or anybody else. He was more of a ringleader.
