The Economic Effects of the Declining Total Fertility Rate
In 2010, 98 countries and territories recorded fertility rates below 2.1. By 2021, the number grown to 124, more than half of the places for which the United Nations collects data. The Economist says this just won't work; you can't have more people who are retired than who are working.
