Zohar: I find a lot of resonance with you as an intellectual and a kind of spiritual seeker. You are inintellectual obviously, but also somebody who writes about belief and what one might call spirituality. And i'm just wondering, as somebody who teaches and teaches at a university, how you think about the life of the mind as it relates to the live of the spirit. Zohar: All the human goods point us to god, in some way, point us to spiritual life. But they're not necessary or sufficient for it.
