There are a couple of things to keep in mind when it comes to remote or virtual employees. When an employee is working at home from a coffee shop, they control their physical space 100%. You want to make sure that employees feel like they're still connected in part of a team. If I spend 30% of my time paying attention to culture, environment, and all the stuff you're talking about, it is as beneficial to my bottom line as sometimes the other 30 per cent of my time spending on marketing.
