One of the interesting effects that we've seen here in the united states post pandemic is that lots of folks, myelf included, can work from anywhere in the world. And they are increasingly looking abroad. I have friends who are looking at, for example, moving to tiland, or o to mexico to try and find a cheaper cost of living with inflation rising very dramatically.
