Encephalitis
Even a normal brain MRI can still be an autoimmune or perineoplastic process. It is sometimes very hard for us to make a diagnosis of encephalitis because the CSF can actually be not all that abnormal. And so that's why we have to have such a heightened level of suspicion and sometimes just send a million dollar work up. Okay. So it sounds like you're saying with this MRI, there are certain findings that would have been really classic and specific for certain diagnoses. Totally.
