How to Find a Phone Banking Spot in Bass
Meagan Quinn was a Sydney volunteer for GetUp who helped run the phone banking into Bass. The trick was finding an issue that a city dweller from Sydney was passionate about enough to volunteer their evenings and yet would connect with a voter in bass. "We have to find that sweet spot, that sort of crossover in the Venn diagram where it's an issue that our base and our members care about," she says.
