At the end of the day, engineering is where the rubber meets the road and where it gets done. You can't hand this off to either one of those and if you do, you're basely asking them to immediately set up a failure with amongst each other in your expectations. It's just actually in this moat that we're fining, thatwe're talking about, that we're finding pepies of engineering and cto an w' just only being able to do things comentably because you're running behind a rope map without any room to breathe.
Jason and Eiso continue their deep dive on different engineering leadership roles, sharing their thoughts on CTOs, VPs, and Managers, how to hire for these roles, and adopting organizational structures that promote transparency and trust in the decision-making processes that shape your business.
