Upper Endoscopy: The Gold Standard for Primary Care Providers
The gold standard is still upper endoscopy. You got to get in there and visualize the varicines not only to see, are they there or are they not? But how big are they? Are they all frail sounds? Do they have signs of recent bleeding? Do they Have gastric varicines that oftentimes we don't see? Gotcha. So it sounds like for for Ms. Jones, unfortunately, some of the evidence based interventions, things like Pia Glaud zone, vitamin E, Lyra Glutide, probably a little late for her,. given that she already has cirrhosis.
