LeCom's Genetic Approach to Beyahung
LeCom is talking about the way that a beyahung or an affirmation is presupposed logically, not chronologically, but logically prior to an act of negation. And he says mythic, he means more like original, in the sense of origin versus genius. An origin is something seen from a later moment. So you can right now look back at your childhood and say, ah, those were the defining moments. You need to have this retrospective approach, retroactive even. The key theme here is negation. But what LeCom wants to point out is that in order to negate something, you must first have a firm, its existence.
