J c p o a placed limits on iran's nuclear programme, but did not completely remove its technology. It was also time limited, in that iran had about 15 years after which it would be able to begin large scale enrichment. A restoration of the agreement would remove from iran large amounts of enriched uranium and dismantle centrifuses they have assembled. So there is value in dascilating for a time? The critics of the agreement say, yes, but you are going to end up giving iran a large amount of money with which it can at the very least sow more trouble in the region.
