The New York Fed and the Short Squeeze

The New York Fed is owned and controlled by the large New York banks, among others. The CEO of SVB is on the San Francisco Fed board; it's not like they're strangers. And so if you look at all the functions they're supposed to be providing as regulator and as liquidity provider in the middle of a run, they're doing the opposite. They're taking this bank down.
