Humanity has grown so used to dependingon the elves for a provision for life, because they're barely able to stay human themselves. This is kind of where enslavement that the elves enact over humanity begin. And this eventually, after a couple of thousand years, still verily, very early in the era we call avam secunda, creates the shrouded empire. It starts to create a level of insanity, of dimentia among them.
