How Tui Got Her Licence at Uni
For her first two years of study she lived at home with her mum commuting out to campus. Tui would have liked to enter a hall of residence in her first year but she enrolled too late to apply and this is not a bad thing if you can do it. Only in her third year at uni did she go flatting out near campus paying just $60 a week for rent which was just the best score at the time, she said. She also worked throughout her study and for Tui her friendly nature paid off when she struck up a conversation with the manager of her local liquor store one afternoon soon after she started at uni.
