You are the first ever female Prime Minister of Estonia. It's very clear that you've faced a lot of gender bias over your career. I have been asked five times with different journalists: Have you cried as a prime minister? And I've always asked back that, have you ever asked this question from a man, a male prime minister? No, they haven't. You know, women are not better politicians than men or men better politicians than women. We just have different life experiences.
Kaja Kallas is the current Prime Minister of Estonia – and the first woman to hold the position. Her perceptive communication and bold action against the threat of Russian authoritarianism has bolstered her reputation as a leader we should all be paying attention to. The Prime Minister talks to Adam about what we can learn from the past when thinking about future consequences, the risks of being inauthentic, and what qualities distinguish the best leaders from the rest.
