Invented new way of comparing the truth content of two theories. Bacon had his own theory of very similitude, and people haven't understood it becase then paid attention to bacon's programme. It's calld power ofer nature. And power ofe nature is not about human beings. Well, it is about human beings gaining their dominion wich they lost henhe thought, adam ad ben cast from paradise. But the way bacon construes it, he says that the task of philosophy can't me to discover the truth simplicity. Simply discover the truth. Because that's what adam was trying to do.
