i think that there's a lot of half-truths there because ultimately what the movie's not going to tell you is that um is that real ultimate illuminati plan if you want to use the the illuminati language kind of metaphorically. i think that they're trying to be portrayed as like i was obviously very shallow and short-sighted very hollow world view where he kind of is justifying the shallowness of that with this genuine belief that through some kind of ceremony ritual they're gonna have this spiritual ascension. That it's again just kind of an artful blend of misdirection with genuine insight  there are aspects of the transhumanist agenda in 'The Matrix'
