There's a huge disconnect between our work and then our commitment to following jesus. What we see as junk, another person sees is potential for for value. We just don't have the eyes to see what's possible through our work or imagination. And i would submit to you that if i am a christian, than i'm not ok on my own. I need to be forgiven and re made as a human being. The good news of the gospel tells me that through the cross and the resurrection of jesus, that's possible, and it's being offered to me. It's precisely this kind of mind that should be set inside us.
