How to Distribute Your First Issue

The first issue we didn't have newspaper distribution so I had my designer just scan like Holming Garden or Vane Fairer's barcode and put it on ours. There was a zine culture where if you want to hit your words out before the web you just would print up a photocopy and give it to people. The other trick I had for distribution was a pretty good growth act at the time was I had gone to eureka jos which was a cafe on fifth and 22nd in New York City.
