When things don't go well, a non-anxious leader doesn't look for other people to blame. This reminds me of Jim Collins' concept of the window and the mirror for a level 5 leader. Anybody can take responsibility for self and work on their own functioning, and it will change the organization.
An emotionally mature culture is a non-anxious culture. Systems that function this way are more resilient and adaptive in the face of inevitable challenges. Here's how you can foster this kind of culture.
