How Many Generations of Stars Do You Think We Can Get In?

Hydrogen is not a renewable resource. It's going to take a long time to burn through all of it. Stars can burn for maybe ten billion years or a trillion years, depending on their mass. If you were to engineer the universe, how many generations of stars dido you think we could get in? I can't even imagine.
