Postpartum athletes are an amazing analogy for the rest of training because you're essentially a beginner athlete again. Cross training allows them to get aerobic volume with lower impact, but without any stress buildup over time. The top end of Z two on an elliptical or bike for me is at like 153 heart rate,. I'm running a little bit under six minute pace out here on the roads. That wrecks me over time. And so this wouldn't drive been incorporating that more and something we try to do with our athletes.
