Are We Looking Forward to the Next Generation of Monuments?

The Rocky statue is one of the most visited places in Philadelphia and rivals any number of our most famous monuments. Do you think that there is something to, should we look at Rocky as an idealized man or the statue idealized the perfect form? I think maybe unlike most statues, the imperfections, not of the statue, but of the character are what make it so compelling. It's not his imperfections that put him on City Hall three times. Like Joan of Arc, it's not her imperfections that are being celebrated.
