Brandon Barker, Cody McMurray, and Jordan Elder discuss the fourth of ten health metrics of a healthy church: Deacon-Supported. In this first season, pastors and leaders from the Redeemer Network will discuss all ten health metrics.
With Jesus as the True Servant, God has given his church deacons to support the elders and the church in caring for the church’s needs. Deacons are faithful and mature Christians who free up the elders to focus on the ministry of the word and prayer. In doing so, they are empowering the church for maturity and mission.
Brandon Barker serves as the executive director of the Redeemer Network.
Cody McMurray serves as the lead pastor at Redeemer Church in Wichita Falls.
Jordan Elder is the pastor of preaching and vision and an elder at Redeemer Church in Round Rock, Texas, and serves as the Redeemer Network Director.
