As every journalist knows, you're only as interesting as your subject. What reporter doesn't appreciate it when you help him do his job by being quotable? So there's a gap here. The Banana Republic, remember the catalog that they mailed out, the one that in the future is going to win all these awards? It somehow found its way to a radio house. And so as a result, they were reading books at the time, like business books, like how to do mailing lists and stuff like that. All the books are said the same thing: You have to lose money.
