Is the Range of the UAVs Getting Longer?
The range of the aircraft that the Americans operate, for instance, off their aircraft carriers is not getting longer, it's getting shorter. This has been a pretty well established trend since as long ago as the Second World War but certainly since the end of the Cold War. The emergence of China as a major power in the United States is making some halting efforts to return to long-range capabilities. But it's far off achieving that.
