Foucault's Confession and Power

Foucault tells us the confession freeze but power reduces one the silence truth does not belong to the order of power but chairs an original affinity with freedom traditional themes and philosophy. How did science capitalize on that? There are a few reasons for this number one through a clinical codification of the inducement to speak combining confession with examination, personal history and hypnosis all were ways of re-inscribing the procedure of confession in a field of scientifically acceptable observations.
