Is Emerging Market Debt Starting to Sell Off?
contagion isn't a rational thing always. People say, ok, which is the next shoe to drop? Then the prices start to fall on those assets and people pull their money out. So if worries start to spill over into other countries, then we could see a really big sell off here. But in terms of worry spreading that contagion risk, it's not a direct risk from russia. It is just people getting scared of the asset class around emerging markets.
