The Meaning of Wu Wei
Wu Wei means not to impose our individual will on events but simply to let them happen. Author Dranser says the self or ego is to be conquered and destroyed as it ultimately isn't real. Arguing for a certain philosophical position is imposing our own self upon the way of nature, the way of the Dao - this goes against the principle of inaction.
